San Francisco "Part 2"

The fog was just not going to give us a break this trip and seeing the Golden Gate Bridge in its full glory was just not going to happen.  We even checked out the webcam on the internet to see if maybe the fog had lifted and we would get a full glance, but no luck!  We did hang in Sausalito which is just on the other side of the bridge.  I had been there before and love that tiny little community.  If you have a chance to visit, I would take the time to go walk the streets, get ice cream or even have dinner there one night.  We also went to the Palace of Fine Arts which was built in 1915 for the Panama-Pacific Exhibition.  Today concerts are held there and other cultural events. We also did a quick stop to see the painted ladies.  Winston wanted to see the houses as he was familiar with them from a TV show called Full House.  Had we had more time, I would have loved to have gotten out of the car and walked the neighborhood as there were so many amazing Victorian homes in the neighborhood. So here are more photos of our days in San Francisco and time in Sausalito.
