Lagoon

Originally known as Lake Park, Lagoon opened its doors in 1886, 10 years before Utah became a state. Lagoon is located just north of Salt Lake in the community of Farmington and is a really fun amusement park.  While it isn't Disney, this is good because you don't have the Disney price tag and long lines. We may have been lucky with the lines, as the day we went was pretty hot.  We waited no more than 10 minutes for any given ride, and we couldn't even ride all the rides they had. For most of the rides, we just walked right on. We enjoyed having Harris join us for the day and had a great time.  The park features rides for all age groups and even a water park section. Utah has plenty of attractions to visit, but if you are looking for a fun place for children, Lagoon is a big hit.
