Istanbul Day 2

Hello!  In order not to completely overload this post with photos, I am going to break day 2 into several parts.  After waking up and getting ready, Frank and I made our way down to the waterfront and took a 1 1/2-hour cruise along the Bosphorus. We didn't know the cruise schedule, so we ended up waiting about an hour on the boat before it took off.  We didn't mind though because the breeze was just perfect Our journey took us north towards the Black Sea though we never made it to the Black Sea.  Frank kept joking about how fun it would be to go up that far; however, given the current situation in Ukraine, I am not sure how safe it would be to go up there just for the fun of it. As you can see from the images we saw lots of beautiful buildings on each side of the shore. I had a hard time understanding the speaker as it went back and forth between English and Turkish. I know one of the buildings was a fortress and another a palace. The cruise was lovely and a great way to spend part of our day.

Dearest Kelleyn,
The weather definitely was perfect for your cruise and for taking photographs of incredible architecture!
