A Stroll through Munich

Friday morning, we had no events in conjunction with the wedding. Despite the weather not being the best, Frank and I drove into Munich. Our first stop was the famous Marienplatz to see the clock. We arrived just in time to see the clock play. That's pretty good timing if I say it. After seeing the clock, we walked to the English Gardens, a famous park in Munich. The park is beautiful and full of life. Given all the rain, the surfers were lucky to be able to surf on the river, which feeds into the park. It was fun to watch. Unfortunately, we didn't have as much time as we would have liked at the park because we wanted to stop in Bad Tölz for lunch, where we had some delicious schnitzel, and then Frank took advantage of the hotel's pool and sauna. It was a great day.

Dearest Kelleyn,
One could tell by the happy faces that it was a great day!
That Schnitzel... only in Germany or in Süd Tirol you will find it like that. Well, the Dutch know as well how to serve a good one 😉
Great photos for the memory.
Hugs,
Mariette

PS trying to gain weight and strength — yesterday morning I was 41.5 kg
