Empty House

It was back to school today for my two oldest children, and the first day of preschool for my littlest. They were all pretty excited. I think they were sick of me. Actually, Winston said yesterday that this was the best summer! However, I think they were happy to be in a routine again. Harris was excited to be in middle school where he has his own locker, can participate in clubs, and even eat lunch outside if he so chooses. I think Winston was just excited to see his friends again since none of them live in the neighborhood. Roman told me he had fun, but that he missed me today. Aaah! It was strange being able to go to the store without any children, and not just one store but many as I ran errands all morning. These photos are getting harder and harder to get as the boys didn't want me to take them this morning. I was even told not to walk them to the bus. What is nice is that each of them comes home at a different time so it will give me time with each of them individually each day.

All 3 children in school= a quiet house

Make the most of getting photos while you can. There comes a time when they run at the sight of a camera...they grow up so fast!

They're all wearing matching shirts... that's not their school uniform, is it? :)

They all look so handsome!

Running errands with no children in tow sounds blissful:)

Although it is tough for us Moms to realize our babies are growing up, it is so comforting when we realize we have raised confident children that can face any challenge on their own.
Great photos even if the models didn't want to take them

What handsome boys you have!

An empty house--maybe a little bittersweet? Although at this moment, I'm totally jealous. :)

Yes, we had 2 boys from the ward at scout camp but most are not members. It was a really great camp. How fun you'll be in Germany for the summer!
