Lego Explorers

 

This fall, Ivy participated in the Lego League Explorers club.  She learned how to code, use her imagination, and work as a team  Each group was given a kit and a theme which they then had to use as their base for design and production.  She had a blast.  As a group, they visited the Fernbank Museum and talked to the exhibit director they also visited the Forsyth Academy of Performing Arts Center and talked to the lighting directors who talked to them about how they programed the lights for various shows.  Her group won first place in the competition.  The group did amazing in their presentation.  I couldn't be prouder of her and the group. Way to go Lucy, Jackson, Kate, Eden, and Ivy!
