Corner View "Sweets"

It is no secret that I love sweets. Usually, though I like them in the chocolate persuation, but when I saw these doughnuts I couldn't resist. Who could resist a heart shaped doughnut from Krispy Kreme doughnuts? Aren't they just adorable? After having a child who has had opened heart surgery, hearts have a new meaning to me. This upcoming week I will be kicking off Congenital Heart Disease Awareness week. We will be attending a hockey game with other CHD patients and going to the capitol to meet with the governor. Those look good enough to eat! I didn't know that one of your children had heart issues. What a blessing our children are to us and you know, first hand, the gifts they bring and how fragile life can be.

my 5 year old would shriek if he saw a photo of heart shaped donuts with sprinkles! his idea of heaven. ;)

ohhh, krispy kremes. i always loved to see the light on when i was a little girl in GA. eating donuts for heart awareness-now that is an interesting thing.
