York Beach

 

We woke up Thursday morning to a beautiful morning, so after eating a delicious breakfast which included French Toast with berries for me and a lobster omelet for my friend, we hopped into the car and drove up the coast to York Beach, Maine. It is one of my favorite places to go!  We sat on the beach, visited the Nubble Lighthouse, did a little shopping, and watched the taffy being pulled at Goldenrod Kisses Candy Shop and Cafe. My visit wouldn't be complete without an ice cream from the Beach Plum, which I should explain is not at York Beach, but rather Rye Beach, just a little south in New Hampshire.  It was a perfect day!
