Day 7

Our time in Colorado Springs ended, and it was time to move on.  We packed up on Sunday morning and headed farther west to Grand Junction, CO.  The drive west on Highway 70 was beautiful.  Having skied in Vail, we didn't make a stop, but I wish we had the time to have stopped in Glenwood Hot Springs.  Next time!  Upon first impression of Grand Junction, I wasn't so thrilled; however, I went for a walk with our puppy later in the evening and discovered the cute Main Street.  Really cute with cafes, shops, and artwork. The saying is true: never judge a book by its cover, or at least take your time to make judgements.  The artwork below is just a sampling of the artwork I saw
