Opel Zoo 24

There is a saying in Germany that goes like this:" Wir sind ja nicht aus Zucker gemacht," which translates that we are not made of sugar.  Another German saying also says that there is no such thing as bad weather but only bad clothing choices.  A couple of weeks ago, as we were just about to go crazy from being in the house for so long, we took a chance and went to the zoo despite the impending rain forecast. Just as our luck would have it, it started to rain about 5 minutes after arriving.  We made the best of it, pushed through, and were rewarded with sunshine at the end of the day.  The Opel Zoo is one of our favorite places to visit in Frankfurt. The girls love feeding the goats, elephants, and deer.  When it isn't raining, they enjoy playing at the playground, and while it isn't the largest zoo here in Germany, they love the collection of animals they have. It is fun, and that is all that matters.
