Opel Zoo 24

There is a saying in Germany that goes like this" Wir sind ja nicht aus Zucker" which translated means that we are not made of sugar.  There is also another German saying that there is no such thing as bad weather, but bad clothing choices.  A couple of weeks ago, as we were just about to go crazy from being in the house so long we took a chance and went to the zoo despite the impending rain forecast.  Just as our luck would have it about 5 minutes after arriving it started to rain.  We made the best of it and pushed through and were rewarded at the end of the day with sunshine.  The Opel Zoo is one of our favorite places to go here in Frankfurt.  They love feeding the goats, elephants, and deer.  When it isn't raining they enjoy playing at the playground and while it isn't the largest zoo here in Germany they love the collection of animals they do have.  It is fun and that is all that matters.
