Seljanlandsfoss Day 2

As I said, these locations are not in order. Seljalandsfoss was our first stop of the day.  If you plan to hike behind the waterfall, I really suggest you have a raincoat or a change of clothes as you will get wet.  Thankfully it was a warm day and so we were able to hang the hoodies on the back seat of the car to dry a bit.  This waterfall drops 60m and is really fun because of the small trail that leads you to many smaller adjacent waterfalls and also because you can walk behind the waterfall.  The hike behind is relatively easy whereas the hike to the top of the Skogafoss Waterfall was difficult and a little hard on the knees because the width between each step was pretty big. Entrance to the waterfalls was free at both locations.  Adjacent to this waterfall is a small gift shop and a food truck with sandwiches, donuts, and other treats along with a free public toilet.  Who would think I would be saying this, but it was almost too sunny which made it difficult to get good photos.  I feel like the photos are super saturated and actually tried to take down the pictures some, but in all honesty, this was our day.  I don't think we could have asked for better weather.  All morning I kept telling the girls to bring their layers, but in the end, we didn't need them.  I saw clouds rolling in over the city tonight, so who knows what the morning will bring.
