Addy turned 1 this week! I can't believe how fast the year has gone by. Way to fast!!! Soon she will be a toddler and the thought of never having a baby in the house again or at least my baby kind of makes me sad, but at the same time we are at peace that our family is complete. At one she is really starting to show her personality and while most times she is a complete angel, I have to say she is a very determined little girl. When she wants something she goes for it. I guess she had to be this way in order to survive in my belly for almost 2 weeks with a placenta that was not giving her nourishment. The thought that she almost died is very humbling. I can't imagine our family without her. She makes my boys softer. They are very gentle with her. I like that and I hope it will make them better husbands and fathers. At one she is standing like a pro and walks around the furniture. She gives kisses and says da da and ba ba, but no real words as of yet. If she is anything like her brothers it might take a while before she really starts to talk since they were all late bloomers and we are a bi-lingual family. She is a talker though. She loves squealing and hearing her voice. Often when we get in the elevator here at our apartment complex she will chat away because it makes an echo and she loves that. She loves other babies, but has not mastered the art of being gentle. Happy Birthday Addy! We love you so much and are so grateful you came to our family. May you always have joy and happiness throughout your life.
