Rain or shine the Woodland Park is a great place to visit if you are visiting Seattle. The park has animals from all over the world, but has many animals that are specific to the Pacific Northwest. Scattered throughout the park are play structures for the children to climb on, and they also have an indoor play area that features daily story time along with a meet and greet with one of the animals of the park. Prices are reasonable in comparison to other zoo's around the country. We had a great time. It was so cute to see the orangutans cover themselves up with blankets underneath the chilly Seattle sun.
