Ward Christmas Party, Christmas Market, and Home Alone

This year, instead of spending a ton of money on decorations, food, and entertainment, our ward (church congregation) gathered together for a simple potluck breakfast, with a short but sweet Christmas devotional given by our bishop.  After breakfast, we gathered to assemble 100 hygiene kits for a local charity called The Palace, which provides temporary shelter and essential items to those without homes.  Definitely, a great way to bring in the Holiday spirit.  Then the girls and I went to the high school, where the German Club was hosting its annual Christmas Market.  While we can't do it every night, we have been taking the time to watch Christmas movies like Home Alone and A Boy Called Christmas.  I am definitely looking forward to my big boys coming home in two weeks. I miss them.
