Christmas Eve -Korean BBQ Traditions, Neighborhood Lights, And More
For the last couple of Christmases we have been home, we enjoy attending a church service put on by the Milton Ward. It is such a spiritual experience and a great way to prepare for Christmas Day. Then, following the performance, we enjoy a feast at a local Korean BBQ restaurant. This year, we added a visit to a local neighborhood decked out in Christmas lights. That was a fun treat. On Christmas morning, we also start off with cinnamon rolls and reading the Christmas story from Luke. Not shown was the feast we ate after opening up our gifts. This year we switched out our traditional ham for lasagna, salad, panacotta, sourdough bread, and Icelandic lamb soup. It was delicious! Harris gifted his papa a German-style wurst package, and Winston was pretty funny gifting everyone either Real Salt from Utah or electrolytes since all the girls run. I, however, got a candle that said, "At least you don't have Ugly Children." While not on Christmas day, with much anticipation, everyone was thrilled that BYU beat out GA Tech in the Poptart Bowl. Go Cougs!
