February This and That

R.S. Salad Social at Erica's house!

Hello!  I hope you had a good start to the week. Our weekend was so busy but with such good things.  Our friends from church invited us over with a few other families to celebrate Chinese New Year!  The food was delicious and fun hanging out and getting to know the different families.  Addy played in the girls' church basketball game league.  She scored around 30 points of which out of those 30 points she scored some 3-pointers.  She was on fire.  Her hard work is really paying off.

As you know it was Superbowl weekend.  The Super Bowl is something other than what we normally watch as we aren't big football fans and prefer soccer over American football. The girls wanted to watch because of Taylor Swift, so I made some cheesy garlic bread in the shape of a football.  I am glad the Chiefs won for the sake of the girls.  Talked to both of my big boys this past weekend.  Harris tried surfing for the first time and wants to try it again. Winston is working hard to get through his classes. Well, I need to go pack.  My mom is flying in on Thursday and we are taking the girls away for President's Weekend.  We are heading to South Carolina. Sadly, it won't be any warmer than it is here, but it will be fun to explore a new area that we have never been to before!  I hope the rest of your week goes well.

Dearest Kelleyn,
Indeed you lived through a very busy week but with fond memories!
The garlic bread football was such a clever idea.
Enjoy your upcoming trip with the girls!
