Jackson Hole, Wyoming

After leaving Utah, we drove to Jackson Hole, Wyoming.  While the town itself is an overpriced tourist trap, it led us to our ultimate desire to see the Grand Tetons.  The Grand Tetons are a gem.  Gorgeous! Stay in a much smaller town a couple of hours away from the park and see the park in a day, or think about camping.  The prices are outrageous, and that is for an ordinary room that is nothing special.  Another tip for visiting the Grand Tetons is to book more than 6 months in advance.  Hotels are limited, so getting a room in town is hard.  It is worth visiting because the beauty of the park and mountains is breathtaking.

Dearest Kelleyn,
So glad that you got to visit the Grand Tetons in WY!
They truly are majestic mountains that one must have seen once in a lifetime.
Did spend two nights at Jenny Lake Lodge and indeed, early booking is a MUST.

We encountered traffic problems due to the recent flooding and the north and west entrance to Yellow Stone still being closed.
Happy pictures of the family!
Hugs,
Mariette
