Hiking the Hausburgturm
Living on the edge of the Taunus mountains leads to plenty of opportunities to walk, bike, and hike. We love hiking in the forest. It brings so much peace! Next to seeing our family when we are here in Germany, it is one of the things we miss most.

That is so true as it makes quite a difference for being able to hike in the Old World.
Here there are so many restriction and also poison oak, ivy and snakes... ENJOY it while it is at your hands.
The view from above is great.
We used to do this in the Eifel region where our German 'sons' live...
