Klosterwald.

This week's adventures here in Germany kept us pretty close to home, but that doesn't mean we didn't have any fun.  Earlier in the week, we celebrated our 2Oth Anniversary in the style of parents who have small children. We ate lunch at this little Mediterranean restaurant adjacent to the shopping center. While the food wasn't super fancy it was still pretty tasty.  Then we said goodbye to my husband who has to go back to the states to take our oldest to college and attend a work conference. We are lost without him, but we are happy he can be there for our oldest. The weather this week brought sun and heat and so off to the local swim pool. We shopped for school supplies which left us deeply humbled because it was worse than shopping for school supplies in the U.S.  because all the supplies names don't match with what is on the list resulting in a cranky mommy and children.  I also left my wallet at the store and amazingly the store was able to track me down via my mother-in-law. What a blessing!  Our friend Elke came to visit us bringing a treat for the children as well as Oma and Opa. The girls went to their first gymnastics meeting.  They had a blast!  We also discovered this gorgeous park in a neighboring town that looks like a Monet painting.  I can't wait to go back there and do a photo shoot.  Well, I better go, but I wanted to share these photos of a visit to Klosterwald which is just about 15 minutes from our house adjacent to a gorgeous hotel where my sister-in-law got married. Klosterwald is a small petting zoo. We went to Klosterwald shortly after arriving here in Germany, but for some reason, the photos were never posted.  Well, it is the last week of summer vacation.  We have a few last hurrah activities planned for this week.  I hope you are having a good Sunday.  Do you have anything planned for this week?

Phew, good you have your wallet back! Feel for you, it's hard to have a husband gone when you have little kids! You'll be in my prayers:) Ah, so your family you chose for the Oma and Opa name, I am Nan, but hubby is Opa:)
Just take it easier till your hubby comes back, Kelleyn! Have a lovely one.
PS What better fun for kids than to feed the animals!
Thank you very much for visiting. It's so nice.
I admire your wonderful family. I watched many of your gorgeous posts.
I see photos of love and happiness. I hope you will ever visit my blog again.
Greetings from Poland.

Hi Kelleyn, a very interesting post and I enjoyed looking at all your lovely photos also. Sweet children! Congratulations on your 20th Anniversary :) I hope your husband will be able to get back soon. I’m also glad your wallet was returned to you. Must have been such a relief. The park sounds wonderful and I would love to see more photos from there. Thank you for sharing these. Happy Summer!
It seems, you had a good time with the children and the animals too.
Best, Synnöve
