Maine Pt 2

The weather wasn't exactly how I had envisioned it when I planned the trip months ago.  In my plan the days would be sunny with temps ranging in the 60-70 degrees.  When our plan landed  in Boston  the skies were overcast and by the time we rolled out of the parking lot the rain was coming down in sheets.  Thankfully we arrived before the traffic started and headed up to my cousin Jane's house to pick her up and then head on to Maine.  The next day we woke up to fog and more rain.  We drove a little along the coast and meandered through a few small towns, but pretty much we were confined to our car.  The next day it was the same thing.  We did check out the statue to Andre the seal who even has a movie about him, hit the L.L. Bean store where the children had fun looking at the live fish in the store, and went to the children's garden that was donated by the founder of the Boston Globe.  Winston was disappointed that his plans to go fishing with Chico were canceled due to the bad weather, but that did not stop him from digging up his own muscles.  I was surprised he ate them.  I don't know if he really like them or ate them just to prove a point. He ate the whole bowl though.  Regardless of the weather it was just wonderful to spend time with our family.

When we were doing the Paul Revere walk in Boston in late April it was also raining hard on us. But no matter, it was Boston. :) Love the picture in front of L.L. Bean, awesome. Take care,

Shauna xo
Great shots despite the weather.
