Pumpkin Festival Ludwigsburg Schloss

Ludwigsburg Schloss located just 14 km north of Stuttgart is a perfect way to spend a fall day.  The day was perfect and the best part was that it wasn't too cold nor was it too hot.  As baby bear says in the story of Goldilocks and the three bears, "It was just right."  We drove down on Friday night and stayed in a neighboring town where we met my sister-in-law and her son for dinner.  Then on Saturday morning, we drove to the Schloss where we had the opportunity to see the pumpkin festival. This years theme was Rome. The children had a blast.  The kurbis ice cream and waffles weren't too shabby either. While we could have definitely have eaten dinner there, we drove to a nearby beer garden where the children had fun playing on the play equipment.

Looks like the kids had much fun! It can't be very easy to make statues of pumpkins, they they are round and big! But I love the horses. Beautiful Schloss! Many thanks for showing this fun event with All Seasons! Have a lovely week, Kelleyn and thank you for taking time to comment last week:)
Great design you made with pumpkins. These are looking so awesome and stunning photos you shared of that beautiful place.

Do you put the ice cream on the waffles? Lots of gourd art and it really looks like fall. I'm hoping fall starts tomorrow and I only have one more day of summer weather. It looks like you guys had a blast.
