Choice pick for Dec/Jan Movies

The Young Victoria was fantastic! I give it an A+! Emily Blunt did a fantastic job playing Victoria. While I thought Sandra Bullock deserved a Golden Globe for her performance in The Blindside. I thought Emily deserved one for this roll too. It is the perfect romance story. The movie is never boring, and the costumes lovely. If there were to be one movie worth going to see right now this is my pick!Leap Year was cute, but this is only a movie you should go to if you are bored and have nothing else to do like me at the time. You might as well save your money and wait for it to come on DVD. Once again at time the movie seemed far fetched as if they were looking for stuff to fill up time. The landscapes were gorgeous and if anything that would be worth seeing. I spent the first 15 minutes not buying the story. First the guy she wants to marry is ugly and the guy she meets who you know she is going to hook up with is kind of a jerk. However, eventually you buy into the plot and end of liking the movie by the end.Sherlock Holmes was my least favorite movie even though I was really looking forward to it! The only thing good about this movie was Jude Law and yet he didn't win the Golden Globe but Downey-go figure! The story line was totally far fetch and not believable It was also very disjointed and at times left me confused or say What! I didn't like how before a fighting scene the movie would pause and Downey told us what he was going to do the the opposition. This is a totally a guy flick!

Oh no! I was looking forward to Sherlock Holmes!
You asked me about Blog Camp, it's just a group of bloggers that get together from time to time! You can see more here: www.wearegoingtoblogcamp.blogspot.com
wow, I am really surprised - so was all that fuss about Sherlock Holmes all hype? Though if you ask me, I wouldn't mind any movie with Robert Downey Jr. AND Jude Law, no matter how boring and disjointed.

But in that case, I'll skip the expensive movie theater tickets and wait for it to come out on DVD!
! David really wanted us to go see Holmes but I refused-so glad I stood my ground ;-)
