Fall Break

On Saturday, Avery, Ivy, my mom, and I went to Dawsonville to visit Uncle Burt Pumpkin Farm. Then we headed to BJ Reece Apple Farm.  Sadly, they raised their entrance fees, and I wasn't willing to pay $72 for a bag of apples.  The costs included the apples, the experience of picking them, the animal petting farm, and a few other things, but it was a drastic price hike. In the past, it was only $5 per person to pick plus the price of the apples. We settled for buying some apples out of the barn and getting some doughnuts and cider.  The girls were fine with that and then we drove to Dahlonega to get some dinner. The restaurant we normally go to stopped serving at 4 and so we tried a new place called Shenanigans.  It was ok! My mom, the girls, and I are headed to Knoxville in the morning.  The boys are staying home with the dog.  I hope you are having a great week. One more thing, I made some pumpkin streusel muffins.  Yummy!
