Seljanlandsfoss Day 2

As I said, these locations are not in order. Seljalandsfoss was our first stop of the day.  If you plan to hike behind the waterfall, I strongly recommend bringing a raincoat or a change of clothes, as you will get wet.  Thankfully, it was a warm day, and so we were able to hang the hoodies on the back seat of the car to dry a bit.  This waterfall drops 60m and is really fun because of the small trail that leads you to many smaller adjacent waterfalls, and also because you can walk behind the waterfall.  The hike behind is relatively easy, whereas the hike to the top of Skógafoss Waterfall was challenging and a little hard on the knees because the width between each step was quite large. Entrance to the waterfalls was free at both locations.  Adjacent to this waterfall is a small gift shop and a food truck offering sandwiches, donuts, and other treats, along with a public restroom available for free.  Who would have thought I'd be saying this, but it was almost too sunny, which made it difficult to take good photos.  I feel like the photos are super saturated, and I actually tried to adjust the pictures somewhat, but in all honesty, this was our day.  I don't think we could have asked for better weather.  All morning, I kept telling the girls to bring their layers, but in the end, we didn't need them.  I saw clouds rolling in over the city tonight, so who knows what the morning will bring.
