cornerview "Black and White"

As an early Valentines gift, my husband bought me a new vacuum cleaner. Now, I know what you are thinking a "vacuum cleaner". Yes, and this means love to me. It arrived last night and I was so excited for its arrival that I promptly took it out of the box and began vacuuming. I have wanted a Miele for years; however, it was never really in our budget. This baby is going to make my life so much easier because now I don't have to sweep up all the fallen food on the floor under the kitchen table and the dust before moping. Yahoo! Some may want flowers, but I wanted something that was going to make my life easier.

I'm with you.
Whatever makes life easier makes my heart go pitter patter! (Wouldn't say no to flowers, though)

Hmmm... "miele" means honey in Italian, for what it's worth. So this can be intrepreted as a very sweet gift, indeed.

Love comes in all forms and the practical is no less than any other. My husband has given me household gifts and I've been thrilled. However, for my birthday he sends a bouquet of flowers sent to my school---I absolutely love flowers and that gesture brightens up my whole week.

I liked the way you took the picture--it could be an ad from an earlier time frame (except that the vacuum is more modern). The pattern on your rug looks lovely.:>)

I can feel the love in your words & photo!
The b/w seems to make the expression warm and loving too...in a kind of sweet and sincere, nostalgic way!

Enjoy:))
