Christmas Traditions

The first day of Advent always falls just right after Thanksgiving. We always begin our Advent celebrations by decorating a gingerbread house. I was smart this year and hid some of the Halloween candy and now it adores our lovely house. The rest I finally threw away. I was going to send it to the troops but just couldn't get on the ball this year. Maybe next year! Do you have any special Christmas traditions?
