Corner View "The Unveiling"

That's me on the far right
Chocolate is my delight
My Son Roman born with Tetrology of Fallot

Once again me on the right
Elba, Italy 2008

HI! Thanks for letting me participate in Corner View. Since my photo is with my profile, I thought I would add a few photos to introduce myself. I once was a little girl who wore tights, but quit despite loving to dance because she couldn't understand her ballet teacher who had a Swiss accent. The little girl also had just moved from Massachusetts to California, and had a thick accent. she was teased by all the other children. She grew up to love chocolate and to cook, but you all ready knew that. Became an advocate for Congenital Heart Disease when her third son was born with a heart condition called Tetrology of Fallot. Her favorite place in the world is Italy, but is married to a very smart and gifted German. Has her hair blown straight every eight weeks when she goes to the hairdresser, and if could change anything she would change her chest size to be smaller because she would like for once men to look at her in the eyes and not at her chest. You can check out more Corner Views by clicking on Spain Daily under my blog roll.

How fun to get to know you even more so! Oh, and completely agree with the "chest" thing; I'd love to have a smaller one!
I love that you told so much about you! It is very nice to meet you. You are lovely!

Lovely lady you are. What a strong mama you have to be to have a child with a heart condition. My friend's little boy has the same condition. She has been in and out of the hospital with him so many times this year and he's not even a year old yet. It amazes me how "sane" she is, but a mamas gotta do what she's gotta do.

Best wishes to you and your family,
Lisa :)

what a hard thing to have to watch your baby hooked up to so many machines/tubes/etc. it looks, though, that you had a gush of love as well. roman seems like he is doing very well.

that chocolate cake is something that i would happily share with you!

I can relate to many things: I also love Italy :),and my little daughter has spent the first 18 months of her life in and out of hospitals, intensive care etc. It's hard. Big hug to you and your Roman.
