A Step Back in Time Cork to Adare
I am totally going to give my age away by revealing that I was raised on movies like the Quiet Man with John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara and Darby O'Gill and the Little People. My kids just watched for the first time The Gnome-Mobile and loved it! It is bringing me so much joy that the girls are starting to get old enough to watch movies that I grew up watching and they enjoy them too. I think they have watched the Parent Trap three or four times now. Some of these movies their grandmother watched when she was a young girl. We are connecting the generations! I am excited that she is going to teach them how to crochet when we get home. Sadly, I never took too crocheting, knitting, or sewing. The perfectionist in me just won't let me. I get too frustrated when I have worked on a row and then it is all crooked. Cooking and Photography is more my speed! Anyway, I am getting sidetracked. As we were making our way north-west we stopped in the town of Adare, Ireland. Adare is like stepping back in time. The village is full of thatched covered roofed homes. While we didn't have a lot of time to spend in Adare, we did make time to eat in the Blue Door Cafe! The food was so good!

Great shots. You've visit wonderful places. It all looks very cozy.
Special to see the houses with different colors.
