Corner View "Spring" part 2

After a long winter nap, Spring has finally arrived in Georgia. The trees are all a bloom and flowers are springing up everywhere. Warmer temperatures are beginning to grace with its blessing. Even the air smells differently. You know what is funny, my favorite smell is not of roses, but off the earth; especially on a warm day after a rain. We celebrated Easter early this year since we are leaving on Friday, and will not arrive at our final destination until Sunday. The boys gobbled down their dinner. Practically licking their plates clean. We ate ham, roasted potatoes, peas, and tomb rolls. For dessert, we had Tomb cakes while we took turns with our friends opening resurrection eggs. These eggs have little tokens such as a crown of thorns, praying hands, a cross, dice, etc. Easter wouldn't be Easter without the annual Easter Egg hunt.
