Raleigh and Chapel Hill
Hunting for trolls left us very hungry. My mother and I decided that we needed to find some fried Okra. The best place to find it is usually with BBQ, so off we went to Pit's Authentic BBQ. Pit's turned out to be a good find. The food was delicious! Then it was off to discover the city's street art before heading to Chapel Hill and High Point. While the UNC campus is beautiful, the reason why we went to Chapel Hill, which was to see the stained glass windows of a church, was a bust. We had arrived a half hour too late, and it was closed. Upon leaving Chapel Hill, we headed to High Point, which was once the center of American furniture making; however, seeing old abandoned factories wasn't why we were going there, as we were there to see Little Sally, another Troll. We ended our night by checking into our hotel in Charlotte, North Carolina. Just some side commentary. I was shocked at how small Raleigh was and how quiet it was for being a bigger city. I loved Chapel Hill and wished, secretively, we could have moved there; however, it wasn't in the cards. What I loved about it is that it is a complete college town, and while small, you still have everything you need. I didn't post any pictures of the campus because we just didn't have time to get out and walk around.
