Spring Break Day 4 Joshua Tree National Park

This post is obviously not in order, but as I have time to edit the photos from our spring break adventures, I will arrange the photos in chronological order. Day 4 started off a tad chilly, windy, and grey; however, as the day progressed, the sun came out, and temperatures rose to the low 90s. When planning a trip to the park, don't underestimate its size.  You can easily spend a full day exploring the park or multiple days exploring.  Also, make sure you fill up your tank before entering, and that you have water.  One can easily see the beauty of the park and the Joshua Trees without leaving the car, but it is worth exploring some of the trails if you want to see more special aspects of the park, such as Heart Rock or Archstone Rock. The girls had fun climbing on the rocks.  At first, I didn't think they were enjoying what they were seeing or understanding how special Joshua Tree National Park is, but once they accepted that this was where we were spending the day, they seemed to enjoy it much more.  We ended at Shake Shack and then went swimming in the hotel pool.  I am so glad we made the effort to go out to Palm Springs and Palm Desert.
