4 days in Florida

Every Presidents Day Weekend, the children get a 4-5 break.  Last year, we went to Myrtle Beach, but this year, we went back to Florida.  Day 1, we drove from Atlanta to Jacksonville, Florida, where we stayed overnight at the beach.  It was really cold, so we stayed at the beach for about 30 minutes before dinner at Blaze Pizza. The following day, we drove from Jacksonville to Orlando, stopping at the Black Bean Cafe.  So yummy!  I love the empanadas, and Roman tried the Cuban Sandwich. We arrived at the Condo around 3, and we headed over to the pool once we were checked in.  The water was surprisingly warm. That evening, Ivy and my mom assembled a puzzle while we relaxed.  My mom, the girls, and I headed to Animal Kingdom on Sunday.  We hadn't been to Animal Kingdom since the boys were little.  Sadly, a good portion of the rides were closed to construction, and we had intermittent rain throughout the day. We still had a wonderful time.  Monday, we spent by the pool and ended the day eating dinner at Texas Roadhouse.  It was a perfect way to celebrate Roman's 18th birthday.  Before heading home on Tuesday, we stopped at Mickler's Landing, a section of Ponte Vedra Beach near Jacksonville.  It was sunny and around the 70s.  The children played soccer, searched for shells, and ran in and out of the waves. Thankfully, the drive home was uneventful.  Frank stayed home to work on his book, and Addy had running and wanted to catch up on her sleep.  She also went to a party at her friend Gentry's house.
