Night Photography

Hi!  I am back though it is late and I need to get to bed.  Utah was such a blast.  Got to see so many old friends, make new friends, eat amazing food and learn new photography skills.  One of the main reasons I went to Utah was to participate in a workshop to learn how to shoot the night sky.  I don't think any of us captured the milky way but it was still a lot of fun!  Here are just a few photos from the trip. I hope to post some more soon. Also, all of these photos presented here were taken at 3 a.m and because the moon was full it really lit up the place.  Crazy isn't it!  Have a great week.

Dearest Kelleyn,
Welcome back home and those photos are spectacular!
Never been to Utah...
Hugs,
Mariette
You had a nice trip and brought beautiful pictures with you!
Greetings Elke
I love Utah. The views are so spectacular there with the red rocks. The first time I came there it looked almost like I was on another planet. Needless to say, I came home with a few plein airs. Actually it is hard to mess up with this color. Green views are much harder. Needless to say I Love, love, love the third view here, Kelleyn. Stunning!jazzed you shared this with us at All Seasons! Have a beautiful week:)

Those rock formations are unreal. I really like your photo with the night-time sky. Sounds like a fun trip. :-)
Those formations are spectacular to say the least. They are the results of wind action, of course, and are slowly but inexorably being worn down. At some point in the future they will all be gone.

Utah looks very spectacular, even at night. I would love to visit there and think I was in a Western movie.
