A World of Wonder at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens

After swim team practice, we rushed home to change our clothes and take advantage in the break of bad weather. We don't go into the city much these days because of the traffic, but I really wanted to see the Alice and Wonderland exhibit that is here until October.  The gardens were beautiful though I am disappointed that they have tor down some of the children's gardens structures. In my opinion, along with the high entrance fee price for children it signals to me that children are not welcomed. The girl had fun never the less and had fun even watching one of the gardeners pull out some crawdads who had made a home in a little pond. How they got there is a mystery as there are no close rivers to the gardens.   Well, it is late and it has been a long day.  Time for bed!  Hope you had a great day!

Such wonderful topiary artists! I wondered though, what were the silver balls strewn on the forest floor...? The girls look like they had fun. I remember visiting that site for the Chihuly show many years ago with my granddaughter. Yes, pricey!

The topiaries are beautiful! We had a collection of them in one of the parks here for a couple of years.

Oh wow--- those are amazing creations!!

ps the BOSTON sign is at City Hall Plaza - the pride one will likely be up through the end of the month, then they'll change it up I think!

What a fairytale land:) Stunning how they worked with the flowers and plants! For sure disappointing if they drive up the prices. The frog an Ivy made me laugh! Easy to see your children are used to be photographed:) Many thanks for sharing this whimsical beauty wit All Seasons! Hope th weather works with you")
