Hanging in Franklin

A few weeks ago, we drove to Franklin to hang with our friends Traci and Angela along with their families.  I will never leave again on a Friday evening unless I can leave earlier in the day.  What should have been 4 hours took us like 6 because of all the traffic in Chattanooga and then it was raining like cats and dogs along with heavy fog.  We didn't roll in until around 11 p.m.  We were so tired.  The next day we met Traci and spent the day playing transferring to Angela's house for dinner.  The kids had a blast and played so well together.  These Kids love each other.  On Sunday we slept in then went to the park followed by lunch at Puckett's.  The food was so good. Here are a few photos from the weekend.

Rush hour traffic can be a bear.

Fun shots, though.

Sounds like one of those exhausting journeys, but it's one that falls under the category of 'parents will do anything for their kids'.

Sydney is the same - friday afternoon traffic out of town comes to a standstill from about 3pm onwards. It's a nightmare! Looks like you had a great time tho!

That is a coincidence as we did travel from the Heart of Georgia past Franklin to Clingmans Dome and on to Knoxville and it was rough! We had NOT anticipated that heavy traffic on Wednesday, April 3.
But for the rest we enjoyed our time.
Hugs,
Mariette
