Alcazar

Hi!  Hope you are having a great summer!  Boy it has been hot these past couple of weeks.  We have been seeing temps of 90-108 and while I much prefer the heat to the cold, I wouldn't mind just a few cool days; however, in all fairness it did cool down tonight to around 80. Our vacation is almost over and we will be heading home to Atlanta at the end of the week.  The children start school soon and we have so much to do before they go back.

Poor Addy isn't even signed up yet.  Couldn't register her until she had a physical with her doctor and that didn't happen until the end of June, but as soon as we get back we will head over to the school district office and give them all the requested paperwork.  I don't even want to think about school supplies.  My least favorite thing to purchase because I feel so much of it is wasted.  Like every year they ask for these certain composition books and they seem to only make a few entries in them before they get returned at the end of the year leaving a hundred pages unwritten on?  Anyhow, I wanted to post the last of my pictures of Spain before moving on to the next block of post and photos.  The Alcazar was practically outside my hotel door and each morning I walked past it on my way to get my glass of fresh squeezed orange juice (to die for) and my warm buttery croissant. I wasn't sure if I was going to go in as the museum is dedicated to the many battles of that area, but in the end I changed my mind and went in which I am so glad I do as there were so many interesting artifacts along with an amazing view of the city.  All the museums in Toledo were only a few euro's to enter which also made it easier to make the decision to visit.
