Moving Day! Corner View Kitchen Countertop

Yesterday was moving day. It went rather smoothly! The only hiccup was a small hairline scratch on the wood floors caused by the delivery and installation of our refrigerator. Now we are swimming in a sea of boxes. I think it is going to be a couple of weeks before we see the end of the boxes. As you can see my kitchen island is covered in stuff. Some of which I just don't know where to put. I seriously need to find my tennis shoes. My feet are so sore after two days straight on my feet. We were a little sad to leave our old home, but after being in our new home two days we are so happy that we made the decision to move. We are so excited for what it means for our family. Did I mention that I was lucky enough to escape for an evening last week so that I could go see Celtic Woman at the Fox theater? Their performance was much better than I anticipated. The violinist was fantastic and had me bouncing in my seat.

The hardest part is the unpacking and finding a new place for everything, but it's also by far the most exciting thing about moving :)

Yay for being moved! Good luck with all those boxes! It's always nice to have everything in its place, though-moving is great like that.

Hi, it feels good to have the moving done, doesn't it. We'll move in the end of May, and redo the new house in the meantime. Exciting times!
