Monet's Garden

Day 3 began with a little delay with the car rental.  There was some confusion, and it took time to straighten it out. The saying cheap can be expensive held true in this case. We rented from a less-known car dealership, wanting to save money.  All their transactions occurred through their app or customer service number, but they needed an in-person representative at the airport. The car was also keyless, which caused problems later on when internet service was limited.  Anyway, we eventually got it all sorted out and made our way to Giverny, the home of Monet, located an hour and 25 minutes to the west of Paris.  The Gardens were lovely, and I can imagine, for a painter, the perfect inspiration for daily painting.

As you can see, I took many pictures. The tour is self-guided. You can get headphones to assist you through the property. I have often been to Paris but have always wanted to visit Monet's home. You need a car or take a tour through a tour company, as public transportation is not ideal. However, the visit was well worth it.

Dearest Kelleyn,
Glad you managed to visit Monet's garden and that red beret is adorable!
You were lucky as it was an overcast day so walking around was more pleasant.
Monet's home is also worthwhile.
Hugs,
Mariette
