New Orleans

 

Hi!  I am kind of backtracking with this post, but on our way to Texas, we stopped overnight in New Orleans.  The children are only good for 7-8 hours in the car and then they are done, and to be honest that is all I am about good for now too. The kids had fun walking down the French Quarter and seeing St. Louis Cathedral.  We finished our visit with a beignet from Cafe Du Monde before we continued our journey to Houston.  One of the fun things that happened was that as we were eating our beignet there was a jazz band playing right outside and so the children got to hear music that is pretty typical of the area.  Well, I have a ton to do today and the children are going to walk in the door any minute from school, so I need to run.  Have a great day!
