2 Years Down
It is hard for me to wrap my brain around the fact that my oldest child has two years down in the books and will be starting his third year in college. I am kind of bummed, but happy for him that he won't be coming home this summer. He had an internship planned here on the east coast, but at the last minute, he got accepted to an incubator program at the University. It was a really hard decision for him as both choices are really good choices, but in the end, it came to when will he ever have the opportunity or the luxury in participating in such an experience. September can't come fast enough. On another note, a few weeks ago he had the opportunity to travel with some friends to California and tour the Space X facility. He is also on the rocketry club and they will be participating in a big event this summer in New Mexico. He and his fellow teammates were happy that their launch went well and nothing broke on the rocket upon re-entry. Oh, the places you will go!

Good for him!
Enjoy these college years! I am hopeful my daughter will jump back into college but she may not for a long while yet. I hope your son has a great time learning in his summer program.
Looks like you all had a fun trip to see Endeavour and the Space X rocket. If your son does go into rocket engineering (first time I am coming over to read your blog), I wish him all the best!!! As a kid I thought it would be wonderful to work at NASA. Wish I had been a lot more studious and understood Chemistry better. ;)
Happy spring to you,
Barb :)
