Pre-K Graduate
Happy Friday! How are you? I hope you are having a good day. Do you have any fun plans for the weekend? We are heading to Dollywood for the weekend in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Hoping that there will be fewer crowds this weekend as opposed to next weekend. Anyway, today was Ivy's pre-k graduation. I can't believe I have been through 6 pre-k graduations and this is the final one. Insert crying emoji face. I did the calculations today and by the time Ivy graduates from high school, I will be 60. Ugh! Insert crying emoji face again. The kids are going to ask if I am her grandma. Oh well, hopefully, she won't be the only one with old parents. It seems like people are having kids later and later, so just maybe I won't be the only old foggy there. The crazy thing is I don't feel old. I hope I still feel that way when I am 60. Ivy was happy to graduate today and she is happy to move onto kindergarten in the fall. Congratulations Ivy!

My parents had me relatively late in the game, so I was used to older parents.
It's Victoria Day on Monday in Canada, so a long weekend. Our tulip festival is still going on until then.
