Cousins

I found these photos on my computer on Monday when I was cleaning up the files.  While we are so happy to be back home in Georgia a piece of our heart is still back in Germany. The children miss their Oma, Opa, Aunt, and cousin. I can't imagine how it was to live back in the time before planes.  I can't imagine moving and knowing that you will never see your family again.  My heart would break into pieces.  Thankfully though that isn't us and what a blessing for modern technology where we can Skype with our family on Sundays.  It makes it just a little easier being apart.  I think these pictures were taken back in April with their cousin came to visit Oma during spring break and the kids had a slummer party.
