Wellenbad USA and Kurspark Klink

As I may have mentioned in my last post, the children are going back to school next week and we are checking our bucket items off the list.  We may not be going far, but to be honest, it is OK because there is so much to see and do around here. Yesterday, I took the children along with their friend Renel to Wellenbad USA which has to be one of the best local swimming pools I have ever seen.  We have actually been before when the children were little and we were visiting their Oma.  The pool is an indoor/outdoor facility that spots one really impressive water slide, a children's play area, and a hot tub.  Hungry no worries!  The facility has a little restaurant where you can purchase french fries, sausages, chicken sandwiches, drink, chips, and ice cream.  The weather was perfect and the children had a blast.

I love the town where Wellenbad is located!  Wouldn't mind living there myself.  If you have any knowledge of Elvis than you may know that he lived in Bad Nauheim for a short time.  Simply the city is beautiful with the Kurspark Klinik being the cherry on the top.  After going there on Saturday, I returned again with the children on Sunday to let off some of their energy before heading back to our apartment.  As we were walking around the park, I discovered the hockey rink where my husband played for so many years.  Love getting to see parts of his childhood.  Well, it has been a long day and I can barely keep my eyes open.  See you back here soon!  What is on your agenda this week?

p.s. I can't wait to get back to the park with my real camera.  All above images except for the college where internet google search.

Nothing like a good swimming pool and it looks like it has natural light as well. Would love to see your pics when you take them. Inviting pier with the swan paddle boats. Always wanted to go on one of those things. The kids look pretty happy.

That's a very nice swimming facility! The pool is so huge. Though probably, I would be either in hot tub or restaurant :-)
