Day 6 Cooking in Spain

A few years ago, Buffi had gone to Italy with some friends from work.  While there, they had attended a cooking class.  She told me it was so much fun, so when we went, we planned our trip to Spain, and I arranged for us to attend a cooking class as well.  She was right, it was so much fun.  Along with the educational, we ate some really fantastic food. The menu began with a dessert of a crema flavored with lemon and vanilla.  Then onto the tortilla, an egg-and-potato dish like quiche, but without a crust.  The paella that we made was phenomenal.  On like the ones that I had tasted in Madrid, this one, despite the fish, did not taste fishy at all.  She showed us all the tricks to make it so it wouldn't look fishy.  We made some new friends, too.  There were Jo and Josepine from California, Ruth and David from Ireland, and there was a couple from Iowa.  I can't remember their names at the moment.  I think the wife's name was Lisa.  Anyway, it was really fun.
