Day 5 Palma
After three nights at the lovely resort in Muro, we returned to the city. It would not have been reasonable to commute back and forth between the resort and the city. Palma is the largest city on the island of Mallorca. Approximately 438,000 people live there, give or take, and make up almost half the island's population. While it was clear we weren't the only tourists visiting Mallorca, we picked a perfect time to visit. The temperatures were perfect. As Little Red Riding Hood would say, "not too hot and not too cold. We had no problem getting a seat at a dinner table, and we didn't have to stand in any lines to see any of the attractions. After checking into our hotel, we walked into the Old Town by way of the marina. Looking at the photos, I just feel so lucky that I had the opportunity to go to Mallorca. Even better, I got to go with one of my dearest and oldest friends. After walking around a bit, we decided we needed some food. Buffi looked up the best restaurants and, unknowingly, chose a Michelin-starred restaurant named La Bodeguilla. The food was so delicious. The atmosphere was lovely, and shockingly, the price point did not break the bank. Then we spent a bit of time wandering in and out of shops before we headed back to the hotel.
