Suncance, Waterfalls, and Snowcones

 

Well, the title says it all.  One afternoon, we packed lunch and headed up the Provo Canyon to Sundance. We would have loved to ride the gondola up the mountain, but since we are going to Park City on another day to do the Alpine slides we saved the money.  It was still fun to have our picnic at the base of the mountain and afterward, we drove to Bridalveil Falls.  When I was a young adult there used to be a dance club that was attached to the side of the mountain.  You would take a gondola up.  It was so much fun.  Sadly and probably for the best, the restaurant/dance club came down when it was hit by an avalanche in 1996.  We finished our day with snow cones.
