Gunlock Falls, St. George

Before leaving Atlanta, I came across a post on Instagram from a friend in Utah who mentioned they had visited Gunlock Falls.  Upon doing my research, I learned that the waterfall hasn't existed for many years due to low water levels. I am a waterfall junkie.  I love going to waterfalls, so when I learned it was on our way to Las Vegas, I added it to our list of things to see.  Located just outside St. George, Gunklock Falls is a 10-minute walk from one's car.  Make sure you wear tennis shoes.  The rocks can be slippery.  It was definitely worth the slight detour off the highway, and it allowed us to stretch our legs.

Dearest Kelleyn,
Glad you managed to build that in!

What an interesting terrain! And I wonder how "Gunlock" Falls got its name?
