Sorry, but the photos aren't very good. On our way to Orlando, we stopped for two nights in Jacksonville, Florida. We stayed downtown which made it easy for us to access the city and get to the beach. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures of the city. It is a little different traveling with a dog. The city has a ton of potential, but it looks like it has seen some hard times. When we have gone to Jacksonville, Florida in the past we have never gone into the actual city because we have either visited family in the burbs or we have gone to the beach. Anyway, if you are looking for a nice hotel stay at the Residence Hotel downtown. I think it is new! It was really nice and the stay was super friendly. Dog friendly too! While we were in Jacksonville, Nana took the girls to see Disney on Ice. Addy didn't want to go, so it was just Avery and Ivy. The girls loved the show. I was on dog duty, but that is OK as I love Oakley.

Well, we used to stay at the Hyatt Regency Riverfront (pet friendly as well) and that always was great.
Next time we will try out the Hyatt Place Jacksonville/St. Johns Town Center which is closer to the beach and right on the water.
The not yet open Hyatt Place St. Augustine/Vilano Beach will be even better.
Glad the girls enjoyed Disney on Ice with their Nana!
Hugs,
Mariette
