Atlanta Chinese Dance Performance
Last weekend we had the opportunity to watch our friends Emma and Morgan perform in the Atlanta Chinese Dance Company called We Belong Here-Rising Against Rising Against Asian Hate. The performance featured dances from different provinces in China along with a collaboration with the Trey Clegg Singers in a dance dedicated to speaking against hate crimes to those in the Chinese community. It was very powerful and touching. I wish we didn't understand the impact of hate crimes against Asians, but since Covid comments about my girls are to frequent. It needs to stop.

The main thing is for your two asian girls and your biological one to love each other and be good friends and sisters.

It is a crime to pick on children — for whatever reason.
But people can be oh so cruel.
Never forgot the remark by someone about our deaf foster daughter Anita — couldn't you find a NORMAL ONE?!
What is THEIR definition of normal...
Some people just lack the brains and understanding about love in its many forms and it is their loss.
